BreastTite: Scarless Breast Lift for Firmer and Younger-looking Breast contours.
BodyTite is a trailblazing contouring solution for small areas of the body that helps patients achieve results similar to an armlift or breastlift without excisional surgery. This scalpel-free, and scarless skin treatment is typically performed in the office, under local anesthesia. Using radio-frequency (RF) technology, the plastic surgeon places a small probe beneath the skin that heats the tissues causing them to contract and tighten. BodyTite for breastlift (BreasTite) and ArmTite results are immediate and dramatic, yet natural. Patients tighter, younger looking skin can stay that way for years to come with optimal results lasting up to 5 years. Patients can expect immediate skin firming benefits after undergoing treatment, with results continuing to improve in the subsequent months. Most patients can return to their jobs and their regular activities as soon as 24-48 hours after the procedure.
BodyTite provides plastic surgeons with a tool to perform breast lifts without the lollipop scar, brachioplasty surgeries (arm lifts) without excisions, and contour areas of non-adherence with results previously only achieved through more extensive surgical procedures. The increasing popularity of these scalpel-free procedures follows their recognized success in achieving outstanding, safe, permanent results while decreasing downtime, and minimizing anesthetic and surgical-related complications such as bleeding, scarring, pain and infection. The Bodytite safety features include computer-monitored external skin thermal sensors, high and low dermal impedance, and internal thermal sensors, as well as contact sensors. When the internal temperature or skin temperature is reached, the radiofrequency energy is cut off, alerting plastic surgeons when to proceed or stop (1). The Radiofrequency-assisted Liposuction (RFAL) generally never approaches more superficial than 2 cm from the skin surface. When the epidermis reaches 38°C–42°C, the thermal heating and aspiration in the respective zone is complete.
When performing a scarless breast lift (BreastTite), BodyTite technology is used to achieve efficient skin tightening results by delivering radio frequency (RF) energy beneath the skin to stimulate collagen and firm the breasts. During this procedure, the BodyTite electrode is applied to the treatment area, while the BodyTite cannula is carefully inserted beneath the skin through a 2 millimeters incision. The electrode and cannula work together to deliver radio frequency energy to the skin. This energy can achieve immediate skin contraction at the surface of the skin, while also promoting the production of subsurface collagen fibers to improve skin structure. Mothers who are experiencing sagging skin around the breasts after pregnancy or breast feeding may be ideal candidates for a scarless breast lift. Additionally, patients who would like to lift the breasts with minimal downtime and recovery may be good candidates for the BodyTite breast lift.
Furthermore, BodyTite can be combined with liposuction in the treated areas to attain more contouring and a more overall youthful appearance. One of the reported advantages of Bodytite and Radiofrequency-assisted Liposuction (RFAL) is the significant contraction of the skin and soft tissue, which has been reported to be equal or greater than 35% at 12 months compared with less than 8% for standard liposuction methods (2). Plastic surgeons who are experienced and highly trained in the Bodytite technique can get very strong soft tissue contraction without the need for aggressive subdermal liposuction or skin excision. Reported complications have been minimal, and include bruising, surface irregularities, and pain. With both, BreastTite and ArmTite game-changing technologies, patients are left with surgical-like results without the large scars, less downtime, and long-lasting, beautiful results.
